The Pixel 5 looks good in Black, but Green is just phenomenal

Green is the new colour for 2020 in the Google Pixel phone line-up, and it’s looking pretty good.

The phone was first shown in any detail by Roland Quandt of WinFuture.de after sharing the above image on Twitter, of what’s believed to be all the new hardware Google is announcing on September 30th.

Leaker Evan Blass has responded with these images shared on Twitter of the Black Pixel 5, as well as the Green Pixel 5.

Of course to me I just can’t help but draw comparisons between the Google Pixel 5 in Green and the Nexus 5x built by LG in Mint – and I loved that colour, even if the phone was amongst the worst Nexus phones ever built.

Whether you choose Black or Green, you’ll get six-inch 19.5:9 aspect ratio 90Hz OLED display at 432PPI covered in Gorilla Glass 6, a Snapdragon 765G processor with 5G support, 8GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 4,080mAh battery with wireless and 18W USB-C fast charging and IP68 waterproofing. You’ll see a 12MP and 16MP camera on the rear and an 8 MP selfie camera on the front.
