Here’s the new Nest Speaker from Google in Chalk and Charcoal

As we get closer to launch the new Google hardware for 2020 is leaking faster than ever. After leaking new pics of the upcoming Google TV device codenamed ‘Sabrina’, Roland Quandt has done it again, this time with a leak of the new Nest Smart Speakers in Chalk and Charcoal.

The speaker itself seems a big departure from the original Google Home speaker, but very much in line with the Nest Speaker and Google Home Mini speakers. Covered in Grey (Chalk) and Black (Charcoal) fabric, the speaker is also expected to be launched in both Pink (not Pink?) and a light Blue coloured option as well.

The design is similar in function with centred LEDs that light up, and a mute switch on the rear. There’s a power plug in the rear which appears to be removable – especially if speculation that the speaker is portable comes to fruition.

Speaker quality will be key with the now discontinued Google Home a decent quality speaker. We’ll find out a lot more on September 30th at 11am PT.
