The Pixel 4a launched this week. The phone comes with all you’d expect, an 18W USB-C charger, USB-C cable, Quick Start Guide, Switch adaptor and SIM tool, but in France and Australia there’s something extra: 3.5mm earbuds.
Don’t get too exited, they’re exactly the same ones that shipped with the Pixel 3a/Pixel 3a XL in Australia last year as well.
They’re pretty simple a bit over a meter from tip to tip and there’s 3 sizes of silicon ear tips included. There’s a single button on one cord that can answer/end a call or play/pause a song. Quality wise they’re ok, nothing earth shattering.
So these are the Pixel 4a wired earbuds, they’re not quite as nice as the Pixel 4 earbuds, and I think they missed an opportunity to emboss the Pixel logo on the side of the bud – it’s in the details Google! Maybe the Pixel 5a may have it?
