Ethernet adapter for the new Chromecast with Google TV is now on the Google Store

If you live in an apartment, townhouse or anywhere else you have a lot of different Wifi routers, chances are you have some poor wifi signal thanks to flooding of the spectrum. Google wants you to have a good experience with the new Chromecast with Google TV and is offering an ethernet adapter for $29.99.

The 5V/1.5A adapter lets you plug an RJ45 connector into the side of the power brick, which then hardwires the new Chromecast with Google TV to your network. It’s still accessible by wireless devices attached to the network though.

The official description reads:

Get connected with Ethernet.
Connect your Chromecast with Google TV directly to your router to create a fast and reliable connection for your Chromecast – perfect for hard-to-reach Wi-Fi spots.

Easy Setup
Attach the included USB cable to your Chromecast, run a wired Ethernet cable from the router to the power supply and plug in – it’s just that simple.

It’s $29.99 and shipping now, check it out now on the Google Store.
